πŸŽ„ The Festival of Trees Is Back This Week!

The 39th annual Festival of Trees starts this week! This beloved Greenville tradition will be held from November 22nd to December 25th at the Courtyard by Marriott and the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville12. You can visit the trees any time during the hotel's regular lobby hours.

This year, the Festival of Trees is raising money to create a Graduate Medical Education (GME) program at Bon Secours St. Francis3. A GME program means that more medical school graduates can stay in the area to do their residency, which benefits the entire Upstate.

When you go to see the trees, keep in mind that local florists, schools, and organizations sponsor and decorate more than 50 trees every year. This is a great opportunity to experience the magic of the holidays with your loved ones, all while supporting a worthy cause!

πŸ¦ƒ Gratefull GVL Returns to the Upstate!

The first-ever Gratefull GVL was such a success in 2019 that organizers are bringing it back this year. The event, which is billed as "Greenville's Biggest Family Meal Ever," will be held on Monday, November 25th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Main Street bridge (in the 400 block of South Main Street).

Gratefull GVL is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your friends and neighbors while enjoying a delicious Thanksgiving meal provided by some of the Upstate's best restaurants23. Over 3,000 guests attended the meal in 2019, but this year, organizers are expecting over 5,000 people.

Conversation cards will be available at each table to help guests get to know each other better. Make plans now to attend this heartwarming event that truly embodies the spirit of Thanksgiving!
